He has also served as Chairperson of the Tropical Smoothie Café Franchisee Council and Co-Chair of its Technology Committee. His faith and family, including wife Nicole and their three young adult children, are central to his life and work.

Nicole Drake is the Co-CEO and Co-Founder of D2 Ventures LLC, bringing over a decade of management, leadership, and technical experience from companies like Lockheed Martin Corporation and Allied Signals Technical Services Corporation. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland. Nicole provides oversight to Area Directors and Operations Managers. Her expertise in project management, staff recruitment, and retention enhances the company’s operational efficiency and growth. Known for her technical acumen and leadership, she currently sits on the board of The Growth and Healing HUB. Nicole plays a key role in shaping the company’s vision and mission. She is married to Dennis Drake and enjoy food and world travel.

Shayna Drake serves as the Director of Operations at D2 Ventures LLC, bringing a wealth of corporate management, supply chain, and leadership experience. She oversees payroll, HR functions and ensuring compliance with brand standards and operational procedures. Shayna implements best practices to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability while monitoring key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, she manages procurement, logistics, and inventory processes, playing a critical role in optimizing the supply chain to support the company’s growth and profitability objectives. Shayna enjoys traveling worldwide in her free time.
